Liprando is Francesco Lo Presti, born in Caserta, musician, songwriter, educated in science, a lover of cinema, theatre and wine. After accumulating a significant experience as a writer-performer in surf/garage genre (1994 to 1999) and film music in 2001 (for a short movie "Pantere Blu"(Blue Panthers) by Gian Carlo Mazzaro and then, in cooperation with other artists, for the soundtrack of the movie "L'imbalsamatore" (The Embalmer)by Matteo Garrone, he devotes himself to the composition and production of a repertoire of songs, giving shape to a new expressive intent free from the constraints of genres, filtering his own musical experience, defining his own style, language and personality. Part of this production is developed with the support and collaboration of a group of "maestri" / musicians / arrangers, who joined the project throughout its development (C. Bartolucci, M.V. Cecilia, A. Bartolucci, G. Vanity, L. De Fortuna, F. Sciarretta) resulting in his debut solo album, "Conseguenze" which is published by Delta Top - Produzioni Musicali (www.delta-top.com). The songs contained in this work speak of passion, promises, hopes and disappointments, victories and defeats, filtering the Italian tradition of songwriting through the essence of electro-rock/pop and its stirring sounds, yet inspired to the musical atmosphere of the indie scene of the 80s in which the subtle feeling of being frivolous and unpredictably alive, in a reality essentially dominated by randomness, arguably marked an entire generation.
